Submission to the 2024 AIA New Orleans Design Awards is a two-step process. This ensures that all identifying information will be kept hidden from our jurors.
Step One: Entry & Payment Form
Fill out the Entry & Payment form (below) in its entirety. Include each project that you intend to submit for consideration. If you are submitting a project under more than one category, you will pay one entry fee per category.
For example, if you submit your project "Pitot House Plans" for two categories: Urban Design/Master Planning and Un-built, you would enter it below as Project 1 and Project 2 and pay both the Project 1 and Project 2 Entry fees.
The Entry & Payment form should be completed for the Early Bird price of $125 per project by Friday, April 26.
Forms completed from Saturday, April 27 - Friday, May 10 will be at the regular price of $175 per project.
No entries will be accepted after Friday, May 10, at 5:00 PM CT.
Step Two: Project Information and Submission Upload Form
After completion of the Entry & Payment form, you will receive an email that contains a link to the Project Information and Submission Upload Form. You must complete one Project Information and Submission Upload Form per project/per category submitted. All identifying information on the Project Information and Submission Upload Form will be hidden from jurors. You will upload all submission materials within the form as described in the Design Awards instructions.
All project submissions are due by Friday, May 24, at 5:00 PM CT.

First, please download the Emerging Professionals Call for Entries document and the Submission How-to document.
Each submission will require the following components:
- A one-page nomination letter or statement by a member of AIA New Orleans that summarizes the nominee’s contributions and qualifications for the award.
- Two one-page letters of support that speak to the nominee’s contributions and qualifications for the award.
- A head shot of the nominee.
- A one-page biography of the candidate, including a list of offices, positions, honors, publications, and presentations that relate to their leadership in the field.
- Exhibits (up to 5) with images, drawings, or other materials that best demonstrate the outstanding accomplishments of the nominee, including confirmation of responsibility for the projects listed.
To enter, please fill out the form below in its entirety.
You must complete this initial form and submit all materials (biography, exhibits, and letters of support) by Friday, May 10, 2024 at 5:00pm.
All entries will be treated as confidential. The only persons with access to the entry materials will be the jury members and employees of AIA New Orleans. Entries will not be intentionally shared with any other party except with the approval of the entrant.
All images and photographs will be retained by the AIA New Orleans for its’ Honor Awards library.
